EPISODE ONE - January 9
In episode one, which airs January 9, 2010, you will meet Herlinda and Denice. You will also meet their friends and families who have promised to be there supporting them from beginning to end. You will be drawn in as you learn about the trials the women have been going through and you will want to watch every week to see how they are overcoming the obstacles that have been keeping them from being who they truly are.
EPISODE TWO - January 16
The Healthy Valley Makeover is an amazing endeavor. It is taking the giving hearts of many individuals to bring the dream to Herlinda and Denice. In the second episode, you will meet Dr. Twahirwa of the Medical Weight Loss Center. He provided the women with meal plans that included meal replacement bars and shakes to go along with reduced-calorie diets. Along the way, Dr. Twahirwa talks with each Herlinda and Denice about her progress and goals.
EPISODE THREE - January 23
The third episode will feature the physical trainers who worked with Herlinda and Denice. The women spent time every week working out at Mundo Power Plate with Steve Jondreau and with Abel Gonzalez at Anytime Fitness. Although the workouts were grueling at times, there was much fun and laughter as the ladies became stronger and used muscles they didn’t know they had.
EPISODE FOUR - January 30
You will meet Drs. Lopez DDS Sr. and Jr. in the fourth episode as they are introduced to Herlinda and Denice. The doctors are a father-son team who perform general dentistry, orthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. You will get to watch them as they work with the women individually regarding what each would like to change about her smile. The transformations are amazing!
EPISODE FIVE - February 6
During episode 5, Denice will visit Dr. Raul A. Pena at The Pena Eye Institute to experience the marvels of IntraLasik eye surgery. This procedure is so exciting because after treatment, Denice will leave The Pena Eye Institute seeing perfectly and leaving behind the eyeglasses and contact lenses that have been inconveniencing her for so many years.
EPISODE SIX - February 12
Episode 6 features Herlinda meeting with Dr. Filiberto Rodriguez from RGV Vein and Dr. Raul O. Maldonado from Harlingen Foot and Ankle who will give her 2 specials treatments that will help her win confidence and exude beauty. Dr. Filiberto Rodriguez will perform Botox© and a liquid facelift procedure, and Dr. Maldonado will rid Herlinda’s toes of nail fungus with a new laser treatment.
EPISODE SEVEN - February 20
What better way to spend episode 7 that at a spa! Denice will spend time at MedSana for a microdermabrasion facial treatment and laser hair removal. At the same time, Herlinda will be at Essential experiencing the Zerona treatment to lose some inches from stubborn areas. The ladies will then meet up at ME Medspa for skin rejuvenation and VelaShape II treatments. In addition, Essential will continue providing Denice and Herlinda another 6 weeks of treatment of the Medical Weight Loss Program.
EPISODE EIGHT - February 27
Episode 8 brings about the conclusion of the Healthy Valley Makeover Challenge television series. As a celebration of effort and dedication by all, Denice and Herlinda will be picked up at their jobs and taken to ME Medspa to meet makeup artist Noemi Martinez to get ready for the celebration party. You won’t want to miss this final episode where you will see the before and after shots of the ladies!
